iPod Nano (Black)
Posted by Terry Apodaca in General, Life, Personal, Technology on March 31, 2006
Well, I finally went out and spent those gift cards I got for Christmas and Birthday. Yes, it’s been over 3 months or so, but I knew what I was going to get…just lazy I guess. As you can see from the title of this post I got the iPod Nano. It’s AWESOME!!! I went with the 4GB (which is about 1000 songs). Yeah, this doesn’t compare to the original iPod in storage ability and it doesn’t play video, but I don’t care about the video! I never watch MTV so what makes me think I would care to pay more to play vids on my iPod. All I care about is small, light, and plenty of storage. So…there you have it. I got the iPod Nano.
Now I need a kick ass docking station! Anyone have some suggestions?
I’ve set up a really cool Image viewer for these…click each one and watch the coolness!!!

NCAASports.com is offering a FREE LIVE broadcast through CBS Sports to cover games that are not blacked out. You do have to register, but if you are not in a position to see some of your favorite teams on a TV, this may be your next best option.
If anyone is trying this let me know how it turns out.
Typetester – Compare fonts for the screen
Posted by Terry Apodaca in Technology, Typography on March 14, 2006
The other day I was looking for a good tool to use when trying to decide on typefaces for my web development. There are several good standalone applications available and one that I have used in the past is from a very cool site: http://www.letterheadfonts.com/
The only thing with tools like these are you never know how they are really going to look rendered in a browser until you test them out. So…in search for something based on this so called Web 2.0 stuff….I found this really cool tool: http://typetester.maratz.com/
I will leave the details for you to read and mess around with on that site. Go ahead, it’s pretty fun!
