Many that read my blog and know me just a little…know that I am a huge open source supporter and absolutely despise the likes of Microsoft and other proprietary companies (talking technology and software here). I guess where I am going with that start is Microsoft has released their latest version of what they consider a web browser - IE 7. They claim this version is a lot more web standards compliant and safer (but IE is still the most targeted browser by virus creators), but I just don’t believe it. I don’t really care because most of my development will still start with Firefox, then Opera/Flock, a couple others and last will be IE because I know I will still have to hack my way through it to get it to even look similar.

On to the real reason for this post…

Yep, Mozilla has also released their most recent version of Firfox!!! - 2.0

Even though I am not married yet…these are things that a person needs to keep in mind and keep it archived for later reference. A friend of mine told me that his 5 year anniversary was coming up and I asked what he was getting her. He told me that there’s a list that shows both traditional and modern gifts. So, going with the fact that I’ll be married in just under two months, I wanted to list these items so that over the years I can reference this list before I head out and get those anniversary gifts.

For now…I’ll only list the first 10 years. This list goes all the way up to your 100th Anniversary!
