Very good points! The Impreza (WRX) has always had it's own unique look. The more I think about it, the more it also looks like a 4 door Saturn Ion too.

I've always liked the '02 model because it looked like a rally car. It looked aggressive and fast. The new model doesn't seem to carry that over, at all.

From a design standpoint, the '08 looks neutered, to me. It is somewhat stale. This new design looks more like a Mazda 3 or Toyota Corolla with a hood scoop.

I know car companies tend to borrow from one another here and there, but this just seems so bland.
