Photo Sharing Services

There’s a new kid on the block. With the existence of such powerhouses like Flickr, Photobucket and Webshots I am not sure it’s needed, but it’s nice to see something new (or redone perhaps). I introduce you to:

Photorganizr

I haven’t used it yet and I may not since I already have Photobucket and Flickr accounts. And it would just as easy to go to my yahoo or google account and start uploading photos to those as well.

Or, the list can go on and on:

Smugmug
MyPhotoAlbum
SnapFish
ringo
slide
faces
PictureTrail
dotphoto
tinypic
putfile
imageshack
shutterfly
zooomr
pickle

and I am sure there are plenty more. If you know of some, link them up in my comments!!!

*** UPDATES
How could I have missed the first two comments? As Eric and Joseph have pointed out…these are two very nice sites…ones that I have seen before…just forgot (or got lost under the countless others that I’ve only just started to list).

  2. Stephen began to leave a comment and decided to go make his own post about it. That’s cool Stephen! Thanks for the ping!

One more to add that really should go at the top of your list, even before flickr.com: http://www.redbubble.com.
This is an Australian-born site, out of Melbourne with an international presence. Simply put, it’s a site that allows users to upload and sell their BEST art. Then the technerds at Redbubble looks after the finance, card-making, lamination and framing and distribution. It’s free and really easy to use.

  3. I just hope you get the chance to either show your own photography on redbubble.com … or purchase someone’s art.
There are an amazing range of photography, paintings, vector-scale imagery and other visual artists selling their art on Redbubble, all waiting for that chance to be seen doing what they do best.

I think one photo sharing service is missing : Joomeo.com ( http://www.joomeo.com) I have used it recently and I think it’s worth the look… especially if you want to keep your photos in HD quality like me.
