PC Decrapifier

February 11th, 2008 by Terry Apodaca

Have you ever bought a Dell, and was overwhelmed by all the software they put on there…most if it just trial stuff anyway! I recently bought my daughter a laptop computer from Dell.

I can tell you from the many years dealing with computers and almost always buying a Dell when I need a Windows machine…they are getting worse and worse with this crap. Thank goodness I found this nifty little tool called PC Decrapifier. It’ll get rid of most things Dell likes to slap on your machine for trials (like most internet things and some other stuff like semantec and usually some image software for 30 day trial). Just run this little piece of joy and rid your new computer of all this ‘crap’!

I do like to support these applications when I can. I couldn’t find any of those little icons you see all over the place so I made some for them:

    Cool Tool!
I know some people that when they get a new computer they totally wipe the hard drive, then reinstall Windows. This seems like an easier method for those of us that are a little intimidated by the idea of starting from scratch.
