Well, I didn’t care too much for either team, but I did want Wes Welker to have a good game. I also wanted to see a Red Raider Alum win a Super Bowl.
It didn’t happen…Giants 17, Pats 14
Wes is becoming more and more a super star on and off the field. Heck, Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods have these types of commercials, but not until further into their careers. Check out this!

I thought this was a real cool picture writeup of back when Wes was with the Dolphins. Can’t post the photos myself, so here’s a link: Swimming with the Dolphins

Well, it’s official now. I know we all knew it…but once you Got Milk? (ad) you are officially a super star. Our very own Wes Welker, a Oklahoma native, played is college football at Texas Tech University, helped establish the Red Raiders as a top team in the Big 12 Conference, and now plays for the Super Bowl Bound New England Patriots.
This should show prime to all those super recruits out there that are not so sure they want to go to Tech. Wes, Crabman, You…think of the possibilities!

Hmmm…is anyone really surprised? TSO isn’t TSO for noth’n. I also think that some things come at the right time and others don’t. Like in Basketball, when a coach will take a Technical for the team…get the fired up. Or when a someone is ruled out at home plate when it was clear to the entire stadium that he safe (tie goes to the runner)…and the coach is thrown from the game from getting into the umpires face. So, bad example is that silly coach from Okielite going off on a reporter because they wrote something about one of his players in question…
Another may have been Leach’s reaction to the game. Now, I will not say that I agree, disagree, or even condone it. What I will say is this though…he had better start taking this much passion for ALL sides of the ball and on the field before he’s no longer a Head Coach.
Leach awaits news from Big 12 office
I guess now it’s just a waiting game…but I have a feeling it’ll be a lot more of nothing in the end.
