Well, Coach Knight didn’t get his record last night, losing to UNLV 74-66. He’ll have another chance on New Years Day though…to get # 880. No other news for the round ballers right now.
Insight Bowl in Tempe, AZ!!! Today is the day folks. Time to strap it on one more (last) time for the season.
NFL Network will be showing the game tonight at 7:05 PM Central time with Derrin Horton, Dick Vermiel and Alex Flanagan calling the game. Follow the action here: Bowl Central

I know it’s been a while since I have updated…and when I have updated it’s been little things here and there. I’ve been busy with the wedding planning with Marla, School starting for the kiddos, keeping the house up and going (furnishing and all that, as well as yard work too), and then there is sports!!! College Football is back!!! And my Red Raiders are at full steam this year with a tough overall schedule to go along with a decent Non-Conference and Road schedule.
They (the Red Raiders) have started out the season with a 2-0 record thus far. They have taken down SMU (35-3 at home) and UTEP (38-35 on the road), respectively. The SMU game wasn’t on TV and I had to suffer through a horrible radio broadcast, but I was able to enjoy it because my fiance, Marla, was right there with me having a few beers and tracking it online. The UTEP game was thankfully on CSTV, but as the game rolled on the more I wasn’t enjoying it. Tech couldn’t put them away and ended up having to win it in overtime on a 49 yard field goal (IT’S GOOOOOOOD).
So far there has already been a rollercoaster of a ride watching the Texas Tech Red Raiders…but how is that any different than in years past??? I guess you just have to sit back and enjoy it. And I know Marla is enjoying it…which makes me even that much more happy.
So what else can I fill everyone in on. The girls are going on their 4th week of school (or is it their 5th). So far they both like their new schools. We got DishNetwork finally…and it seems like that’s all they want to do - watch TV. We’ve had to lay the hammer though…no TV until their Homework and Chores are complete. Which is almost NEVER!!! but they’ll learn if they want to watch the new toy, because I got the HD (High Definition) package too!!! and that’s AWESOME!!!
As for the house, we are still slowly getting new things here and there for it…still lots to add. I’ll save this subject for it’s own post and for a later date.
now for the wedding, it’s moving along very well…and should also be placed in it’s own post. So here’s the jist:
We’ve got the wedding parties all picked out. We’ve picked out the colors and most of the decoration for the Chapel and the Reception (just small things/fillers here and there and then we’ll have that all complete). We still need to find a good/cheap photographer, catering and a DJ. Marla already has her dress and the girls dresses. Still a lot of ‘todos’!!! HELP!!
I’ll also have the site up real soon with more of this info available. It’ll be your main place for info regarding the wedding and the life we will be building together as Mr. & Mrs. Apodaca. Follow this link and keep coming back often…I promise the site will go live soon!!! www.terryandmarla.com
